Verzichte auf dies, lass jenes weg und du wirst schlanker, hübscher, fitter und kannst dazu noch besser denken. Kurzum: Mache eine Diät und du wirst zum besseren Menschen. Das Problem dabei ist nur: Es wirkt nicht – zumindest nicht langfristig. Das liegt schon an der Wort-Definition. Denn im deutschen Sprachgebrauch steht Diät für zeitlich begrenzte Disziplinierung.[1] Dabei kommt der Ausdruck „díaita“ aus dem Griechischen und bedeutet ursprünglich Lebensführung oder Lebensweise und hat damit einen eindeutig langfristigen zeitlichen Charakter.
